It’s good to be with others who are trying to walk the same path. The spiritual battle is real for all of us, but none of us has to walk this road alone. Even though the church is hardly perfect, they’re still colleagues in this journey—and just seeing them in-person can be uplifting.

How do you take advantage of the rewards of social media while avoiding its pitfalls?

We need a renewed attention on intimacy with Jesus over efficiency with our smartphones.

Instead of trying to incorporate evangelism, make it a normal part of who you are.

In a church with 100 in attendance, an additional 32 attendees would have to be added to stay even, and they would have to attend every Sunday. If they attend every other Sunday, the church would need an additional 64 attendees.

And I hate seeing people I know end up on the losing end of the stick when they simply brought up an honest question to someone they admired – only to get slammed for it.

Stress was never meant to control our lives.

To move teenagers to action, we must break their hearts for the lost, just as Jesus did with His disciples. We must help paint a picture of the hell their friends are living through and the Hell they’re headed to. We must paint a picture of the Great Commission as the greatest cause, that will transform their friends’ lives both now and forever.
