Try This: Jewelry, Clothes, Book Swap

Ask your female church members to donate items such as jewelry, clothing and books for a swap day. The items should be gently used and freshly washed. Allow single moms and those in need to “shop” a day or two before the swap. Take an inventory and divide by the amount of participants to get an estimate on how many items each person can take. Put some fun music on, provide light snacks, and let the women in your church mingle as they go shopping for new things!
