The students appreciate the notes church volunteers leave for them, which address specific prayer requests, contain Scripture or offer encouraging words. The athletes are most grateful, however, when Oak View volunteers show up to their games.

The event proved so popular that Cross Point ended up holding two more of these science-based events. The church also used its established partnerships with local schools to hold science days at two campuses at which students seized the opportunity to build and fly rockets, construct a bridge, conduct experiments, perform a bounce test and other fun and educational activities.

Providing these groceries is just one way Madison Hills has served its neighbors through food.

Until their participation in the ministry, the children had never thought about how such a small thing like a stuffed animal could help a child in distress.

Faith- and non-faith-based community groups can use these performance spaces for concerts and recitals.
