The Lord’s best servants are the congregation’s best leaders. Those who lead best are humble servants willing to stoop and wash the feet or rise and lead the charge, whatever the situation requires.

Sure your communications, media, and tech teams want to do amazing things. So they bring out the fog machines, fancy lights, and the worship leader reaches far beyond the capabilities of the choir or worship team.

A significant number of churches have never invited a vocational evangelist to speak. Why not?

When someone is going through a difficult time in life, whether they are feeling overwhelmed, stricken with grief, or just generally burdened, they are often encouraged that though their challenges are considerable, God would never give them more than they could handle. This is not a biblical concept.

Reproducing campuses is not the same as adding another ministry to your church. Moving from a “mono-site” to a “multi-site” church mentality is a major paradigm shift.

It takes courage to stand with Scripture in a culture hostile to its moral compass. Sometimes it takes even more courage to stand up to your own religious peers when they are the ones capitulating to that culture.

If discipleship does not lead to evangelism, we should ask ourselves, "Who am I really following?"
