10 Things You Can Do While You’re Stuck at Home

Stir Crazy. That may be the best way to describe most of the world right now. After you’ve browsed the news for the hundredth time this hour, checked all your socials again, and talked with your housemates about the stock market and the latest government bans, what else is there to do?

The coronavirus pandemic is changing the world for sure, and lest we fall prey to the fear and discouragement of the Enemy, we have to take control of our own actions and thoughts, and keep forging ahead.

Here are 10 proactive things you can do to stay focused on a brighter future …

1. Check on a neighbor.
2. Get some exercise.
3. Read a book.
4. Play a game.
5. Call your mom.
6. Learn a new skill.
7. Reset your 2020 goals.
8. Find a new income stream.
9. Cancel unwanted subscriptions.
10. Pray for your church.

Personally my anxiety is giving way to anticipation as I focus on God’s promises and look at how he has worked in the disruptive moments of my life. Often it’s during these times when everything is shifting that I discover he is the Rock I’ve needed all along.
