Jesus didn’t gloss over the messiness of faith. He stopped and pointed at the doubt about who he is, and then he offered hope.
Similarly, younger pastors, those 18-44, are the most likely to say they’re very familiar with deconstruction (36%), while pastors 65 and older are the least likely to possess that same level of familiarity (12%).
"I think there is a healthy way to deconstruct, but I am not talking about getting rid of Jesus. I'm talking about getting rid of the things that are more cultural than Christian to get closer to Jesus," says Lecrae about reconstructing faith.
