Staying the Course Even When It’s Hard

I’ve been a believer for 49 years, but I still battle with faith some days. Here’s what I do in these times, though: I turn to my own writings to remember what I had learned through God’s grace in the past. I don’t want today’s burden to trump yesterday’s lessons—so I go back to yesterday, listen to the Lord convicting me through my own words, and press on.
