Church Feeds Hungry Locally and in Tanzania

POWAY, Calif.—The hungry in San Diego County and across the globe in Tanzania will have vitamin-rich meals thanks to the efforts of St. Bartholomew’s Church in Poway and the nonprofit organization Friends & Family Community Connection.

The two groups worked together recently to package 86,000 meals of soy, rice, chicken flavoring and vegetables. A third of the meals were to help local families in need, with the rest headed to aid Tanzanians.
