After-School Program Reaches Kids

Keeping kids off the street after school and helping them develop different skills in a fun, supervised environment are among the main goals of a North Carolina church’s outreach ministry.

 

King’s Gate Church in Hamlet, N.C., developed a free, after-school program at a local park that lets kids play basketball, receive boxing training through The Dungeon Boxing Club and, ultimately, obtain tutoring help.
