Try This: 3 Father’s Day Outreach Ideas

Father’s Day Sunday is June 18. Be sure to let the dads who come to church on Father’s Day Sunday know that you’re glad they came and you’d love it if they came again soon.

1. Give away “Pop”corn. Rent a popcorn maker and pass out small bags of popcorn as people leave. Tags or posters can say, “Our Pops Are Tops.”

2. Announce an upcoming men’s event intentionally planned for the weeks following Father’s Day—basketball tournament, men’s breakfast with guest speaker, etc. Invite men (dads) back.

3. Host a BBQ after church for everyone. Give dads a “grill towel” that’s been embroidered or screen-printed with your church’s name and logo.
