Free-Throw Fund-Raiser to Aid African Orphans

A South Dakota church is helping orphaned children in Africa one swish at a time.

 

Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, S.D., is holding a Hoops of Hope fund-raiser, at which kids and adults will shoot free throws to try to raise $40,000 to build a dormitory in Africa for children there orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
