The focus of his 30 years in Bible ministry has been publishing, researching, speaking and writing on the topic of reading and living the Bible well. He is the author of Saving the Bible from Ourselves and one of the creators of Immerse: The Bible Reading Experience.
Maurice Sendaks parents were poor Jewish immigrants to the United States from Poland. Their family that stayed behind were all killed in the Holocaust.
