The Nature of God

The Nature of God:
Ocean Adventures Book and Volumes 1, 2 and 3 DVDs
By Peter Schriemer (Zonderkidz)
2012 Outreach Resources of the Year

“Combining beautifully shot videos with great content and a compelling host, these DVDs and the accompanying book are the perfect outreach resource for children and families. While learning about the nature of God through stunning views of the ocean, children will be inspired to connect with the God of creation. The educational content points naturally to God so that children will be aware of His work and presence next time they’re visiting the ocean. These videos are perfect for children to give as gifts to friends, to watch during family movie night, and as a companion to a church’s Sunday morning curriculum.” —Amy Dolan and Sandy Riggs, from the March/April 2012 issue of Outreach magazine

How Much Tech Do You Actually Need?

Because you cannot do this alone, you are going to have to trust the right individuals who know more about tech than you do. Your calling is to shepherd. Do that.

Gene Appel: Do Less Ministry; Reach More People

None of the programs at our church were bad in and of themselves. The volume of it just prevented us from being focused on building relationships with those who are far from God. So, we had to do less ministry to reach more people. It sounds funny, but people had to be trained in how to do life with nonbelievers or people spiritually disinterested.

When Familiar Becomes Careless

God wants to be in a relationship with his people that’s not marked by fear but love. Not apprehension, but an appreciation of his great grace and compassion.
