We often overcomplicate evangelism when all we need to do is just do it.

Setting a waiting period gives God the opportunity to provide what we want, to provide something different or better, or to show us that we don’t need it and should use the money differently.

The apostle Paul, a missional-pastoral leader, says it this way: “He made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he purposed in Christ as a plan for the right time—to bring everything together in Christ, both things in heaven and things on earth in him” (Eph. 1:9–10).

Having some data and research to back a strong idea will help your senior leader and the team run faster and feel more confident in the direction.
