We need a renewed attention on intimacy with Jesus over efficiency with our smartphones, especially regarding making disciples evangelism.
And I hate seeing people I know end up on the losing end of the stick when they simply brought up an honest question to someone they admired – only to get slammed for it.

Do your job. If you are losing members to the new guy, keep telling yourself (and your leaders who may be panicking at the empty pews and low offerings), This is not about us, but about the Lord Jesus. And if theyre doing a better job over there, then lets pray for them and encourage them. Dealing with church competition requires a focus on your own ministry.
The greatest challenge for church leaders is to tell the future church narrative in a way that is beautiful and life-giving to a generation that sees the world through a lens of anxiousness and division.
Guests do not want to search for basic information. They want it quick and fast. Look at your website and social media pages as if you were a guest. Have selected ages within your church go to these sites and provide honest and open feedback.
When we put our pride aside and truly value those around us and who we work with, we are able to then respect what each person brings to our team.
Hope is a beautiful byproduct of faithful practice in the present, offering a path to overcoming cynicism.
Be specific about what God is showing you. Does the vision mean fine-tuning your churchs youth ministry, growing your outreach department, building up leaders within the ministry, or growing your church's deeper understanding of Gods Word as you renew church vision?
