Our congregations need to be equipped to meet the moment in the culture, so that they are ready to lead people to Jesus.
As we face challenge and opposition in our contexts, let’s be encouraged to keep going with consistency, moral courage and confidence in the Scriptures as God’s Word for all time—including our time.
The mycelial network is healing and growing again in England as landowners pay attention to soil health and conservation. May we say the same of the global church.
As leaders we grow in competence and confidence and in many other glorious ways through the years. But I needed to learn how to receive love in a new way in order to heal from leadership anxiety and trauma.
A commitment to unvarnished truth as a permanent value would protect a culture from corruption and other forces of power.
Our work might also be a means of worship—God calls work good when we pursue quality, beauty, truth, and integrity in what we make, write, and build.
Let’s not live our lives functioning as Christian atheists who have a framework of cultural belief with no room or need for God to show up as God.
Prepare to say yes can mean extending yourself beyond what you have achieved before, being tested in new ways, working hard, facing new physical challenges, and dealing with nerves.
Could we be more personal, detailed, self-deprecating and humble in our apologetics, recognizing women eyewitnesses matter.
