Maybe you’ve run from God your entire life. Maybe you were raised in a Christian home and thought, “This is a complete drag. I don’t want to live as a Christian, go to church, or live by what the Bible says. I want to go out and have fun—to do what I want to do.”

We tend to look for the Lord in the big events of life, and He is there. But He is always working behind the scenes in our lives, attentive to every detail.

Before he shed his precious blood on the cross, he experienced anguish and suffering in the garden. And he gave us an example of what we ought to do when it seems as though our world is ending.

As believers, we can know we will see that person again in heaven. That is God’s great gift to us. His Son Jesus personally intervened and turned death into victory.

Let me bring some clarity with a quick play over of what I believe is the chronology of end times events. In my estimation, the next event is the rapture of the church.

I am so often stopped in my tracks and forced to reflect on how the great saints of old were able to rise above their circumstances to see the grand vision God was giving them.

God reveals things to Christians that unbelievers don’t understand. We know, for instance, that humanity is not basically good. The Bible teaches that humanity is basically sinful.

World changers have an active, not passive, faith. Faith is like a muscle. The more we use it, the stronger it becomes.
