Host a Parents’ Night Out

In today’s on-the-go culture, parents are often neglected when it comes to quality time away from the stresses of work and home. Set aside an evening of fun for the parents in your church and surrounding community. Set up small tables and dress them up with fine linens and flowers. Provide live music, a comedian, or even a funny movie for entertainment. If the budget allows, give each parent a goodie bag filled with the pastor’s favorite book, a gift card, or small treats. Recruit your youth group or young adult group for childcare duty.
