TURNING POINTS

Our multisite strategy is effective and efficient in that it allows us to multiply healthy campuses, which in turn multiply healthy disciples. We are passionate about making disciples who make disciples. The multiplication factor starts in Lexington, but it doesn’t stay in Lexington. People all over the world are being reached and equipped by multiplying healthy campuses.

MEASURING SUCCESS

Movement. When a person moves from unconnected to connected, we celebrate. And when a person moves from connected to connecting, we celebrate. When people stop moving, they start dying. It’s all about making disciples who make disciples.

GETTING DOWN TO WORK

I chase purity. I sin a lot. So I spend time memorizing scripture, because God says it will help me sin less. The less I sin, the more pure I am as a husband, dad, follower and servant. And I chase humility. I serve the poor. Jesus spent most of his time serving emotionally, physically and spiritually bankrupt people. Washing dirty feet keeps me humble.

My Top 5 Books on Evangelism

The spiritual discipline of evangelism requires a faithful walk with the Lord, intentionality, understanding contexts, and connecting with people far from God.

Bethlehem Church: What You Celebrate, You Replicate

The power of storytelling is used throughout the year to proclaim God’s goodness to the congregation, and it seems to be affecting church growth positively.

The Danger of Attempting It Alone

It’s not just unwise to be without a church; it’s dangerous. And the reason it’s dangerous is because we aren’t strong enough to go at life with Christ on our own.
