Idea Starter: Surprise a Deserving Mom or Dad With a Car for Mother's Day or Father's Day

If your church has the resources, bless a local mom or dad with a new or dependable used car on Mother’s Day (May 11) or Father’s Day (June 15), respectively. Ask local kids to write an essay about why their mom or dad deserves a new car, or ask for nominations from the community, and announce the winner at the service corresponding to the holiday.
