Try This: Show Love and Support to Young New Moms

Ask your church to donate newborn baby essentials, and have volunteers package them in baskets with information about your church. Establish a relationship with your local crisis pregnancy center, and when one of the center’s clients gives birth, have them present a basket to her. Many centers allow screened and qualified volunteers to serve as mentors to these young moms. If experienced moms in your church are willing, they could take on this role as well.
