Try This: Hold a Back-to-School Kids’ Clothing Exchange

Hold a clothing swap to benefit local kids. Invite moms to bring all the clothes their children have outgrown and pick out any “new” articles in the child’s current size. Donate to charity anything that’s left. Kids grow so fast that they hardly have a chance to wear many of their clothes, and often they’re as good as new. This will help moms save money on back-to-school shopping, make good use of what would otherwise be discarded, and benefit those in need.
