John Edmund Haggai Online Memorial Service Scheduled for Dec. 9th

Haggai International, a global missions organization that equips and encourages international Christian leaders across the world to effectively share the gospel of Jesus Christ, is celebrating the life of its founder Dr. John Edmund Haggai, who died on Nov. 18 at age 96.

A series of identical, worldwide streaming memorial services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 9. Services will be offered at 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. ET to accommodate multiple time zones across the organization’s international community.

Dr. Haggai dedicated his life to sharing the gospel across the world and played a significant role in the demographic shift and globalization of Christianity. In 1969, he launched Haggai International to equip influential, indigenous leaders in developing nations to demonstrate and present the gospel to their own people.

Haggai International is also celebrating Dr. Haggai’s life by providing the opportunity to give a memorial gift in the honor of his faith and vision to reach the world with the gospel.

Memorial streaming services can be viewed through the organization’s website, YouTube or Facebook. Those interested in learning more, supporting Haggai International through a gift, or registering to attend a memorial service can visit Haggai-International.org.

When I go to a great restaurant and it’s really good, no one ever has to tell me, “Could you let other people know?” I cannot wait to tell other people, first of all, that I've been, and second of all, how good the food is. I think we have lived our Christian lives on the periphery of God's grace and goodness and favor for so long that we don't know how good the food is for ourselves.
