Try This: Car Donation Ministry

St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Beaverton, Oregon, has donated more than 260 cars to families in need through its Cars for Success ministry. People donate their cars and receive a tax deduction equal to the car’s fair market value. In turn, St. Matthew gives the cars to those needing transportation to jobs, school, appointments, etc. Three out of 4 of their recipients are raising families and 23 percent are on disability, overcoming medical challenges or participating in drug/alcohol rehab.
